About the James & Esther King Biomedical Research Program
Established by the Legislature in 1999 and managed by the Florida Department of Health, the James & Esther King Biomedical Research Program has invested $79 million to date in 188 awards to Florida researchers at 16 different institutions using merit-based competitions.
