About the Florida High Tech Corridor Council
The Florida High Tech Corridor Council is a regional economic development initiative of the University of Central Florida, the University of South Florida and the University of Florida whose mission is to grow high tech industry and innovation in the region through research, workforce and marketing partnerships. Its Matching Grants Research Program provides research dollars for companies seeking solutions in product development, intellectual property and contracting R&D. More than 2,600 faculty and students have conducted research through this program with 350 companies, resulting in an economic impact of more than $1.3 billion in the 23-county region.
